يَا مُمْتَحَنَةُ ٱمْتَحَنَكِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكِ قَبْلَ انْ يَخْلُقَكِ فَوَجَدَكِ لِمَا ٱمْتَحَنَكِ صَابِرَةً وَزَعَمْنَا انَّا لَكِ اوْلِيَاءٌ وَمُصَدِّقُونَ وَصَابِرُونَ لِكُلِّ مَا اتَانَا بِهِ ابُوكِ صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَاتَىٰ بِهِ وَصِيُّهُ فَإِنَّا نَسْالُكِ إِنْ كُنَّا صَدَّقْنَاكِ إِلاَّ الْحَقْتِنَا بِتَصْدِيقِنَا لَهُمَا لِنُبَشِّرَ انْفُسَنَا بِانَّا قَدْ طَهُرْنَا بِوِلايَتِكِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ نَبِيِّ ٱللَّهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ حَبِيبِ ٱللَّهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ خَلِيلِ ٱللَّهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ صَفيِّ ٱللَّهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ امِينِ ٱللَّهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ خَيْرِ خَلْقِ ٱللَّهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ افْضَلِ انْبِيَاءِ ٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَمَلاَئِكَتِهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ خَيْرِ ٱلْبَرِّيَةِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا سِيِّدَةَ نِسَاءِ ٱلْعَالَمينَ مِنَ ٱلاوَّلِينَ وَٱلآخِرِينَ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا زَوْجَةَ وَلِيِّ ٱللَّهِ وَخَيْرِ ٱلْخَلْقِ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا امَّ ٱلْحَسَنِ وَٱلْحُسَيْنِ سَيِّدَيْ شَبَابِ اهْلِ ٱلْجَنَّةِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ ايَّتُهَا ٱلصِّدِّيقَةُ ٱلشَّهِيدَةُ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ ايَّتُهَا ٱلرَّضِيَّةُ ٱلْمَرْضِيَّةُ اَلسلاَمُ علَيْكِ ايَّتُهَا ٱلْفَاضِلةُ ٱلزَّكِيةُ اَلسلاَمُ علَيْكِ ايَّتُهَا ٱلْحَوْرَاءُ ٱلإِنْسِيَّةُ اَلسلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ ايَّتُهَا ٱلتَّقِيَّةُ ٱلنَّقِيَّةُ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ ايَّتُهَا ٱلْمُحَدَّثَةُ ٱلْعَلِيمَةُ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ ايَّتُهَا ٱلْمَظْلُومَةُ ٱلْمَغْصُوبَةُ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ ايَّتُهَا ٱلْمُضْطَهَدَةُ ٱلْمَقْهُورَةُ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ وَعَلَىٰ رُوحِكِ وَبَدَنِكِ اشْهَدُ انَّكِ مَضَيْتِ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكِ وَانَّ مَنْ سَرَّكِ فَقَدْ سَرَّ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَمَنْ جَفَاكِ فَقَدْ جَفَا رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَمَنْ آذَاكِ فَقَدْ آذَىٰ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَمَنْ وَصَلَكِ فَقَدْ وَصَلَ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَمَنْ قَطَعَكِ فَقَدْ قَطَعَ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ لاِنَّكِ بِضْعَةٌ مِنْهُ وَرُوحُهُ ٱلَّذِي بَيْنَ جَنْبَيْهِ اشْهِدُ ٱللَّهَ وَرُسُلَهُ وَمَلاَئِكَتَهُ انِّي رَاضٍ عَمَّنْ رَضِيتِ عَنْهُ سَاخِطٌ عَلَىٰ مَنْ سَخِطْتِ عَلَيْهِ مُتَبَرِّىٰءٌ مِمَّنْ تَبَرَّاتِ مِنْهُ مُوَالٍ لِمَنْ وَالَيْتِ مُعَادٍ لِمَنْ عَادِيْتِ مُبْغِضٌ لِمَنْ ابْغَضْتِ مُحِبٌّ لِمَنْ احْبَبْتِ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِيداً وَحَسِيباً وَجَازِياً وَمُثِيباً اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ نَبِيِّ ٱللَّهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ حَبِيبِ ٱللَّهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ خَلِيلِ ٱللَّهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ صَفيِّ ٱللَّهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ امِينِ ٱللَّهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ خَيْرِ خَلْقِ ٱللَّهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ افْضَلِ انْبِيَاءِ ٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَمَلاَئِكَتِهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ خَيْرِ ٱلْبَرِّيَةِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا سِيِّدَةَ نِسَاءِ ٱلْعَالَمينَ مِنَ ٱلاوَّلِينَ وَٱلآخِرِينَ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا زَوْجَةَ وَلِيِّ ٱللَّهِ وَخَيْرِ ٱلْخَلْقِ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا امَّ ٱلْحَسَنِ وَٱلْحُسَيْنِ سَيِّدَيْ شَبَابِ اهْلِ ٱلْجَنَّةِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ ايَّتُهَا ٱلصِّدِّيقَةُ ٱلشَّهِيدَةُ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ ايَّتُهَا ٱلرَّضِيَّةُ ٱلْمَرْضِيَّةُ اَلسلاَمُ علَيْكِ ايَّتُهَا ٱلْفَاضِلةُ ٱلزَّكِيةُ اَلسلاَمُ علَيْكِ ايَّتُهَا ٱلْحَوْرَاءُ ٱلإِنْسِيَّةُ اَلسلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ ايَّتُهَا ٱلتَّقِيَّةُ ٱلنَّقِيَّةُ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ ايَّتُهَا ٱلْمُحَدَّثَةُ ٱلْعَلِيمَةُ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ ايَّتُهَا ٱلْمَظْلُومَةُ ٱلْمَغْصُوبَةُ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ ايَّتُهَا ٱلْمُضْطَهَدَةُ ٱلْمَقْهُورَةُ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ وَعَلَىٰ رُوحِكِ وَبَدَنِكِ اشْهَدُ انَّكِ مَضَيْتِ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكِ وَانَّ مَنْ سَرَّكِ فَقَدْ سَرَّ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَمَنْ جَفَاكِ فَقَدْ جَفَا رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَمَنْ آذَاكِ فَقَدْ آذَىٰ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَمَنْ وَصَلَكِ فَقَدْ وَصَلَ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَمَنْ قَطَعَكِ فَقَدْ قَطَعَ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ لاِنَّكِ بِضْعَةٌ مِنْهُ وَرُوحُهُ ٱلَّذِي بَيْنَ جَنْبَيْهِ اشْهِدُ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلائِكَتَهُ انّي وَلِيٌّ لِمَنْ وَالاَكِ وَعَدُوٌّ لِمَنْ عَادَاكِ وَحَرْبٌ لِمَنْ حَارَبَكِ انَا يَا مَوْلاَتِي بِكِ وَبِابِيكِ وَبَعْلِكِ وَٱلائِمَّةِ مِنْ وُلْدِكِ مُوقِنٌ وَبِوِلاَيَتِهِمْ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلِطَاعَتِهِمْ مُلْتَزِمٌ اشْهَدُ انَّ ٱلدِّينَ دِينُهُمْ وَٱلْحُكْمَ حُكْمُهُمْ وَهُمْ قَدْ بَلَّغُوٱ عَنِ ٱللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَدَعَوْٱ إِلَىٰ سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِٱلْحِكْمَةِ وَٱلْمَوْعِظَةِ ٱلْحَسَنَةِ لاَ تَاخُذُهُمْ فِي ٱللَّهِ لَوْمَةُ لاَئِمٍ وَصَلَوَاتُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكِ وَعَلَىٰ ابِيكِ وَبَعْلِكِ وَذُرِّيَّتِكِ ٱلائِمَّةِ ٱلطَّاهِرِينَ اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاهْلِ بَيْتِهِ وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ ٱلْبَتُولِ ٱلطَّاهِرَةِ ٱلصِّدِّيقَةِ ٱلْمَعْصُومَةِ ٱلتَّقِيَّةِ ٱلنَّقِيَّةِ ٱلرَّضِيَّةِ ٱلْمَرْضِيَّةِ ٱلزَّكِيَّةِ ٱلرَّشِيدَةِ ٱلْمَظْلُومَةِ ٱلْمَقْهُورَةِ ٱلْمَغْصُوبَةِ حَقُّهَا ٱلْمَمْنُوعَةِ إِرْثُهَا ٱلْمَكْسُورَةِ ضِلْعُهَا ٱلْمَظْلُومِ بَعْلُهَا ٱلْمَقْتُولِ وَلَدُهَا فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِكَ وَبَضْعَةِ لَحْمِهِ وَصَمِيمِ قَلْبِهِ وَفِلْذَةِ كَبِدِهِ وَٱلنُّخْبَةِ مِنْكَ لَهُ وَٱلتُّحْفَةِ خَصَصْتَ بِهَا وَصِيَّهُ وَحَبِيبَةِ ٱلْمُصْطَفَىٰ وَقَرِينَةِ ٱلْمُرْتَضَىٰ وَسَيِّدَةِ ٱلنِّسَاءِ وَمُبَشِّرَةِ ٱلاوْلِيَاءِ حَلِيفَةِ ٱلْوَرَعِ وَٱلزُّهْدِ وَتُفَّاحَةِ ٱلْفِرْدَوْسِ وَٱلْخُلْدِ ٱلَّتِي شَرَّفْتَ مَوْلِدَهَا بِنِسَاءِ ٱلْجَنَّةِ وَسَلَلْتَ مِنْهَا انْوَارَ ٱلائِمَّةِ وَارْخَيْتَ دُونَهَا حِجَابَ ٱلنُّبُوَّةِ اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهَا صَلاةً تَزِيدُ فِي مَحَلِّهَا عِنْدَكَ وَشَرَفِهَا لَدَيْكَ وَمَنْزِلَتِهَا مِنْ رِضَاكَ وَبَلِّغْهَا مِنَّا تَحِيَّةً وَسَلاَماً وَآتِنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ فِي حُبِّهَا فَضْلاً وَإِحْسَاناً وَرَحْمَةً وَغُفْرَاناً إِنَّكَ ذُو ٱلْعَفْوِ ٱلْكَرِيمِ

Roman Transliteration

ya mumtahanatu imtahanaki allahu alladhi khalaqaki qabla an yakhluqaki fawajadaki lima imtahanaki sabiratan wa zaamna anna laki awlya'un wa musaddiquna wa sabiruna likulli ma atana bihi abuki salla allahu alayhi wa alihi wa ata bihi wasiyyuhu fa'inna nas'aluki in kunna saddaqnaki illa alhaqtina bitasdiqina lahuma linubashshira anfusana bi'anna qad tahurna biwilayatiki alssalamu alayki ya binta rasuli allahi alssalamu alayki ya binta nabiyyi allahi alssalamu alayki ya binta habibi allahi alssalamu alayki ya binta khalili allahi alssalamu alayki ya binta safiyyi allahi alssalamu alayki ya binta amini allahi alssalamu alayki ya binta khayri khalqi allahi alssalamu alayki ya binta afdali anbiya'i allahi wa rusulihi wa mala'ikatihi alssalamu alayki ya binta khayri albariyyati alssalamu alayki ya sayyidata nisa'i alalamina min al-awwalina wal-akhirina alssalamu alayki ya zawjata waliyyi allahi wa khayri alkhalqi bada rasuli allahi alssalamu alayki ya umma alhasani walhusayni sayyiday shababi ahli aljannati alssalamu alayki ayyatuha alssiddiqatu alshshahidatu alssalamu alayki ayyatuha alrradiyyatu almardiyyatu alssalamu alayki ayyatuha alfadilatu alzzakiyyatu alssalamu alayki ayyatuha alhawra'u al-insiyyatu alssalamu alayki ayyatuha alttaqiyyatu alnnaqiyyatu alssalamu alayki ayyatuha almuhaddathatu alalimatu alssalamu alayki ayyatuha almazlumatu almaghsubatu alssalamu alayki ayyatuha almudtahadatu almaqhuratu alssalamu alayki ya fatimatu binta rasuli allahi wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu salla allahu alayki wa ala ruhiki wa badaniki ashhadu annaki madayti ala bayyinatin min rabbiki wa anna man sarraki faqad sarra rasula allahi salla allahu alayhi wa alihi wa man jafaki faqad jafa rasula allahi salla allahu alayhi wa alihi wa man adhaki faqad adha rasula allahi salla allahu alayhi wa alihi wa man wasalaki faqad wasala rasula allahi salla allahu alayhi wa alihi wa man qataaki faqad qataa rasula allahi salla allahu alayhi wa alihi li'annaki bidatun minhu wa ruhuhu alladhi bayna janbayhi ushhidu allaha wa rusulahu wa mala'ikatahu anni radin amman raditi anhu sakhitun ala man sakhitti alayhi matabarri'un mimman tabarra'ti minhu muwalin liman walayti muadin liman `adayti mubghidun liman abghadti muhibbun liman ahbabti wa kafa billahi shahidan wa hasiban wa jaziyan wa muthiban Second Ziarat (from Mafatih Jinan): alssalamu alayki ya binta rasuli allahi alssalamu alayki ya binta nabiyyi allahi alssalamu alayki ya binta habibi allahi alssalamu alayki ya binta khalili allahi alssalamu alayki ya binta safiyyi allahi alssalamu alayki ya binta amini allahi alssalamu alayki ya binta khayri khalqi allahi alssalamu alayki ya binta afdali anbiya'i allahi wa rusulihi wa mala'ikatihi alssalamu alayki ya binta khayri albariyyati alssalamu alayki ya sayyidata nisa'i alalamina min al-awwalina wal-akhirina alssalamu alayki ya zawjata waliyyi allahi wa khayri alkhalqi bada rasuli allahi alssalamu alayki ya umma alhasani walhusayni sayyiday shababi ahli aljannati alssalamu alayki ayyatuha alssiddiqatu alshshahidatu alssalamu alayki ayyatuha alrradiyyatu almardiyyatu alssalamu alayki ayyatuha alfadilatu alzzakiyyatu alssalamu alayki ayyatuha alhawra'u al-insiyyatu alssalamu alayki ayyatuha alttaqiyyatu alnnaqiyyatu alssalamu alayki ayyatuha almuhaddathatu alalimatu alssalamu alayki ayyatuha almazlumatu almaghsubatu alssalamu minhu wa ruhuhu alladhi bayna janbayhi ushhidu allaha wa mala'ikatahu anni waliyyun liman walaki wa aduwwun liman adaki wa harbun liman harabaki ana ya mawlati biki wa bi'abiki wa baliki wal-a'immati min wuldiki muqinun wa biwilayatihim mu'minun wa litaatihim multazimun ashhadu anna alddina dinuhum walhukma hukmuhum wa hum qad ballaghu ani allahi azza wa jalla wa daaw ila sabili allahi bilhikmati walmawizati alhasanati la ta'khudhuhum fi allahi lawmatu la'imin wa salawatu allahi alayki wa ala abiki wa baliki wa dhurriyyatiki al-a'immati alttahirina allahumma salli ala muhammadin wa ahli baytihi wa salli ala albatuli alttahirati alssiddiqati almasumati alttaqiyyati alnnaqiyyati alrradiyyati almardiyyati alzzakiyyati alrrashidati almazlumati almaqhurati almaghsubati haqquha almamnuati irthuha almaksurati diluha almazlumi baluha almaqtuli waladuha fatimata binti rasulika wa badati lahmihi wa samimi qalbihi wa fildhati kabidihi walnnukhbati minka lahu walttuhfati khasasta biha wasiyyahu wa habibati almustafa wa qarinati almurtada wa sayyidati alnnisa'i wa mubashshirati al-awliya'i halifati alwarai walzzuhdi wa tuffahati alfirdawsi walkhuldi allati sharrafta mawlidaha binisa'i aljannati wa salalta minha anwara al-a'immati wa arkhayta dunaha hijaba alnnubuwwati allahumma salli alayha salatan tazidu fi mahalliha indaka wa sharafiha ladayka wa manzilatiha min ridaka wa ballighha minna tahiyyatan wa salaman wa atina min ladunka fi hubbha fadlan wa ihsanan wa rahmatan wa ghufranan innaka dhul`afwi alkarimi

English Meaning

O carefully examined (lady): Allah Who created you had tried you before He created you (for this worldly life), and thus He found you successfully enduring in that trial. We claim being loyalists to you, believers in you, and tolerant as regards all that which has been conveyed to us by your father, peace of Allah be upon him and his Household, and all that which his Successor has brought to us. We, thus, ask you, if we have really believed you, that you may include us with those who believe in both of them (i.e. the Holy Prophet and Imam `Ali), so that we may feel happy that we have been purified on account of our loyalty to you. Peace be upon you, O daughter of the Messenger of Allah. Peace be upon you, O daughter of the Prophet of Allah. Peace be upon you, O daughter of the most beloved of Allah. Peace be upon you, O daughter of the Intimate Servant of Allah. Peace be upon you, O daughter of the Choice of Allah. Peace be upon you, O daughter of the Trustee of Allah. Peace be upon you, O daughter of the best of Allah's creatures. Peace be upon you, O daughter of the best of Allah's Prophets, Messengers, and angels. Peace be upon you, O daughter of the best of all created beings. Peace be upon you, O doyenne of all women of the world, including the past and the coming generations. Peace be upon you, O lady of the Intimate Servant of Allah and the best of all created beings after the Messenger of Allah. Peace be upon you, O mother of al-Hasan and al-Husayn, the two chiefs of the youth of Paradise. Peace be upon you, O veracious and martyr. Peace be upon you, O content and pleased. Peace be upon you, O virtuous and pure. Peace be upon you, O Paradisiacal human being. Peace be upon you, O pious and immaculate. Peace be upon you, O one talked by the angels, O knowledgeable. Peace be upon you, O oppressed lady whose right was usurped. Peace be upon you, O persecuted and maltreated. Peace be upon you, O Fatimah the daughter of the Messenger of Allah. So be upon you the mercy and blessings of Allah. May Allah bless you, your soul, and your body. I bear witness that you have spent your life with full awareness of your duty towards your Lord and (I bear witness) that he who pleases you will have pleased the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his Household, and he who displeases you will have displeased the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his Household, and he who harms you will have harmed the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his Household, and he who respects you will have respected the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his Household, and he who disrespects you will have disrespected the messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his Household. This is because you are an inseparable part of him (i.e. the Holy Prophet), and you are his soul with which he lives. I ask Allah, His Messengers, and His angels to be the witnesses that I am verily pleased with him whomever you accept, I am displeased with him whomever you detest, I disavow him whomever you disavow, I am loyal to him whomever you support, I am the enemy of him whomever you betake as enemy, I am hateful to him whomever you hate, and I like him whomever you like. Verily, Allah is Sufficient as Witness, Reckoner, Punisher, and Rewarder. Peace be upon you, O daughter of the Messenger of Allah. Peace be upon you, O daughter of the Prophet of Allah. Peace be upon you, O daughter of the most beloved of Allah. Peace be upon you, O daughter of the Intimate Servant of Allah. Peace be upon you, O daughter of the Choice of Allah. Peace be upon you, O daughter of the Trustee of Allah. Peace be upon you, O daughter of the best of Allah's creatures. Peace be upon you, O daughter of the best of Allah's Prophets, Messengers, and angels. Peace be upon you, O daughter of the best of all created beings. Peace be upon you, O doyenne of all women of the world, including the past and the coming generations. Peace be upon you, O lady of the Intimate Servant of Allah and the best of all created beings after the Messenger of Allah. Peace be upon you, O mother of al-Hasan and al-Husayn, the two chiefs of the youth of Paradise. Peace be upon you, O veracious and martyr. Peace be upon you, O content and pleased. Peace be upon you, O virtuous and pure. Peace be upon you, O Paradisiacal human being. Peace be upon you, O pious and immaculate. Peace be upon you, O one talked by the angels, O knowledgeable. Peace be upon you, O oppressed lady whose right was usurped. Peace be upon you, O persecuted and maltreated. Peace be upon you, O Fatimah the daughter of the Messenger of Allah. So be upon you the mercy and blessings of Allah. May Allah bless you, your soul, and your body. I bear witness that you have spent your life with full awareness of your duty towards your Lord; and (I bear witness) that he who pleases you will have pleased the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his Household, he who displeases you will have displeased the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his Household, he who harms you will have harmed the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his Household, he who respects you will have respected the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his Household, and he who disrespects you will have disrespected the messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his Household. This is because you are an inseparable part of him (i.e. the Holy Prophet), and you are his soul with which he lives. I ask Allah and His angels to be the witnesses that I am the friend of him who adheres to you, I am the enemy of him who makes an enemy of you, and I am in war against him who wages war against you. O my doyenne, I have full faith in you, your father, your husband, and your sons—the Imams, I believe in their (Divinely commissioned) leadership, and I commit myself to the obedience to them. I bear witness that their religion is the true religion, their command is the true command, they have conveyed on behalf of Almighty Allah (flawlessly), and they have called to the Way of Allah with wisdom and fair exhortation. They have never feared the blame of anyone concerning carrying out their duty towards Almighty Allah. Blessings of Allah be upon you and upon your father, your husband, and your descendants—the Immaculate Imams. O Allah, (please do) send blessings upon Muhammad and his Household and send blessings upon the chaste, the immaculate, the veracious, the infallible, pious, pure, amiable, well-pleased, virtuous, right-minded, oppressed, and wronged lady whose right was usurped, whose right of inheritance was violated, whose rib was broken, whose husband was persecuted, and whose son was slain; (she is) Fatimah: the daughter of Your Messenger, the inseparable part of his flesh, the essence of his heart, the piece of his innermost, the choice of You for him, the gift that You have given exclusively to the Successor of him, the most beloved of the Preferred Prophet, the wife of the Pleased Successor, the doyenne of all women, the conveyor of good tidings to the intimate servants (of Almighty Allah), the inseparable from piety and asceticism, and the Apple of the Heaven and Eternity (in Paradise); (she is) the lady through whose birth You have honored the women of Paradise, from whom You have pulled the Lights of the Imams, and fixed the Veil of Prophethood. O Allah, (please do) confer upon her with blessings that raise her standing and honor with You, raise her position from Your Pleasure, convey to her our greetings and compliments, and grant us, from You on account of our love for her, favor, kindness, mercy, and forgiveness. Verily, You are the All-generous Lord of pardon.
