| Detail | Planning example |
|---|---|

| Leave days / calendar anchor | Published school break: 8–12 March |
This example assumes a Monday–Friday working week, weekends off, eligibility for the named holidays and approved leave. School-specific windows apply only to the stated calendar. Your employer, school and local holiday rules take precedence.
Match the break to your pilgrimage
This is a school-calendar example, not a promise of nine days of public holiday for parents. Confirm the child's curriculum, any calendar updates and adult leave separately.
Choose a journey that fits the full absence
Count the outbound journey, connection time and return journey before choosing hotel nights. Compare a focused Iraq route with an Iran route rather than trying to fit both countries into a short break. For families, discuss room sharing, children’s ages and mobility needs before accepting a proposed schedule.
Questions about using this holiday window
Is this a confirmed departure?
No. It is a travel-planning window. A package, flights, visa eligibility and hotel availability must be confirmed separately.
Does the same holiday entitlement apply to everyone?
No. The example is specific to the market and calendar stated above. Confirm the time off you actually receive before committing to travel dates.
